For this year's Girl's Day, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of talented schoolgirls to IFS. We started the day with an exciting tour of the main RWTH buildings, followed by lunch together in the canteen.
In the afternoon, our group was completed when female students joined us at IFS. Together we started a lively exchange about the everyday working life of a female engineer in the rail vehicle industry.
To round things off, the participants were given some insights into our test benches and vehicle technology. The girls and young women were even allowed to operate one of the vehicles.
