In particular, the IFS-seminar deserves a special mention. This seminar is a joint event with the German Machine Technology Society (DMG) and takes place from this year on biennial in December.
In 2017 - for the first time - the International Railway Symposium Aachen (IRSA) took place at 28.-30. November. This event will be held every two years, alternating with the IFS seminar. The already third IRSA 2021 took place from 21-23 November 2021.
During the InnoTrans (18.-21.09.2018) in Berlin, the Research Center Railways (RCR), founded by the IFS, the Institute for Traffic Engineering (VIA) and the Institute of Power Electronics and Electric Drives (ISEA), was represented on the Stand of VDV in hall 2.2. We took part again in the tried and tested form at InnoTrans 2022, which was held four years later.
