A delegation of the Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Corp. ZELC of the Chinese CRRC group has visited the IFS for the second time.
The managers were especially interested in the educational possibilities regarding master and doctorate programmes as further training for their staff members. In this context, the head of the IFS, Professor Schindler, and his colleagues Nießen (VIA, Fac. 3) and DeDoncker (ISEA, Fac. 6) could report on the newly founded Research Center Railways (RCR).
The RWTH alumni representative and dean of studies of the faculty 4 (Mechanical Engineering), Prof. Markert, joined the meeting later in order to discuss the collaboration possibilities with the RWTH.
