Prof. Schindler as keynote speaker at the 1st Smart Mobility Symposium in Bangkok

The 1st Smart Mobility Symposium has been inaugurated by the Thai Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith and the German Ambassador Peter Prügel. The event is organized by the Thai-German Graduate School of the King Mongkuts University of North Bangkok (KMUTNB), a cooperation with the RWTH Aachen.

Prof. Schindler took part in the opening speech and also gave a presentation on Autonomous Driving. Other presentations dealt with innovative micro-mobility devices, such as the electrically driven skateboard and other small-sized vehicles. Autonomous compact cars and minibuses were also discussed.

Prof. Schilder will also deliver a lecture on rail vehicle construction at the KMUTNB during his stay in Bangkok.
