Prof. Schindler honoured for his commitment to the commercial vehicle sector

The International Commercial Vehicle Technology Symposium at the University of Kaiserslautern took place from 8th to 10th March. For the first time, the former and probably new minister-president of the state Rhineland-Palatinate graced the organisers with her presence. Approximately 260 participants from eleven different countries attended the event, which is primarily aimed at scientists and industry representatives related to the sectors of trucks, buses, agricultural and construction machinery and special-purpose vehicles. Professor Christian Schindler was in charge of the organisational management until his transition to the RWTH Aachen this year and he had a significant influence on the symposium, which takes place in Kaiserslautern every two years since 2010. The organisers of the Commercial Vehicle Alliance, represented by their spokesman Professor Karsten Berns, expressed their gratitude to Professor Schindler for his work. Professor Schindler will continue attending the symposium as a member of the programme committee.
