On Friday, 26.04.2019, the festive colloquium "rail vehicles and transport systems" took place in the SuperC of RWTH Aachen.
After the welcome speech by the director of the institute, Prof. Schindler, Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Hans Peter Lang - DB Systemtechnik - on the "opportunities and risks for the railways" with regard to current and future mobility requirements. Mr. Dipl-Ing. Martin Rüffer - VG Frankfurt - joined in his speech, in which he highlighted the topic with the focus on public transport.
In the further course of the event, several lectures followed, which the former doctoral students held on their dissertation topics as well as their current work priorities.
A very interesting day came to an end with an evening "get together". Many former colleagues came together and were able to freshen up memories and exchange current ideas in a pleasant atmosphere with an excellent buffet.
